SAFETY FOR YOUR DOG IN THE CAR
Dog safety in the car: If you want to transport your dog safely in the car, you should also consider what can happen in the event of an accident or emergency braking. Dogs die in car accidents every year. That's why we analysed accidents with the help of experts. The result: dogs are pushed into the harness or thrown against hard rear seat backrests during heavy braking manoeuvres. The injuries are not always recognised immediately. There is also great danger immediately after accidents when dogs that are not or not sufficiently secured run away in fear. The development of our safety products has progressed so far that we can spare our dogs unnecessary risks.
THE BELT SYSTEM
We use quality webbing from a German weaving mill that has been specially developed for the requirements of transport safety. The webbing is soft to the touch yet provides a secure hold. The length is adjusted using robust stainless steel fittings. We use high-quality aluminium carabiners, which are particularly light and easy to use, to fasten the harness in the boot and secure your dog in the best possible way. Another highlight is our belt protector, which provides additional padding for the belt. This is important in the event of emergency braking or an accident.
OUR ISOFIX SYSTEM
Our integrated ISOFIX system "Easy to fix" compensates for the angle of inclination of the seat bench and thus ensures additional safety and Comfort under the paws of your four-legged friend. Thanks to the adjustable angle, our ISOFIX system can be infinitely adjusted and the car seat can be positioned horizontally. Installation is child's play: the ISOFIX system is simply clicked into the Isofix of your vehicle and secured to the dog car seat with a rotating disc.
PROTECTION FOR YOUR CAR
We not only protect your dog, but also your car! Our boot beds are equipped with a bib that reliably protects the bumper and your car from scratches. Your four-legged friend can get in and out of the car comfortably without you having to worry about damage to the paintwork. Our car products keep your boot and the interior of the vehicle free from dirt, moisture and pet hair. Thanks to the artificial leather surface, dirt can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth.
OUR IMITATION LEATHER
Our artificial leather comes from the furniture industry and is free from oil-based plasticisers. This type of artificial leather is more expensive as a material, but safer for humans and dogs. This means you can be sure that your pet will not ingest any harmful substances when licking the basket. In addition, our leather is pore-tight and moisture or sebum (a breeding ground for bacteria) cannot penetrate the material in the first place. Another advantage: where there are no bacteria, there are no unpleasant odours.
THE SOFTPAD
With our Softpad, your dog always has the cosiest surface to lie on when travelling. The Softpads are blankets that we have developed individually for our car seats. Thanks to the integrated tensioning frame, the pad always retains its shape and fits the respective DOGSTYLER car seat perfectly. This means that your dog no longer has to struggle with different blankets or towels, the resting place remains not only safe but also cosy and comfortable on every journey. The Softpads are available to fit all models of our car seats. So that car journeys are also a feel-good experience.
WATER RESISTANT INLETS
The best development for travel sickness and other accidents are our water-resistant covers. These protect the cold foam inside from moisture penetration. But why is that necessary, given that our artificial leather is virtually impermeable? That's right! And yet liquid can seep through the seams into the interior if your dog has a little mishap. To ensure that your dog's car bed always remains hygienic and odour-free, we have developed our protective covers. Another plus point: thanks to the smooth surface structure, the inlets slide smoothly into the cover. This makes fitting the car seat child's play.
